  • The Nikon Coolpix S6300 offers a mixed bag of pluses and minuses. The minuses include a slight softness in some images, a built-in flash unit that's oddly placed, a small LCD that suffers from glare problems, and a lack of manual control options. However, w...

  • The Nikon Coolpix S6300 is a small, lightweight pocket camera with a ultrawide-angle 10x zoom lens that's easy to pick up and use and has a nice assortment of snapshot shooting options
  • Though its overall shooting performance is good for its class, the autofocus is temperamental. Battery life is fairly short
  • In the face of stiff competition, the Nikon Coolpix S6300 is an above average point-and-shoot made slightly better by a low price, simple operation, and nice features.

  • The Nikon Coolpix S6300 is a nice little camera, offering decent operational speeds and good color accuracy. This camera does have a few drawbacks -- after all, it's not a Nikon dSLR model -- but it's tough to argue with the sub-$200 price. The Coolpix ...

  • Let's start with the outside. The S6300's body feels cheap. It feels like plastic, coated in a glossy paint that scratches easily, and generally feels toy-like. The buttons are pleasingly tactile, but we're not optimistic about their durability. How about...

  • 10x optical zoom, Slim, Good macro mode
  • Poor panoramic mode, Digital filters not great
  • Pushing aside a few minor niggles, mainly to do with options such as the panorama mode, the Nikon Coolpix S6300 is a solid performing compact camera that will please consumers. Images are generally well exposed, have natural colours straight from the cam...

  • Tiny and lightweight, good zoom range for an ultra-compact, decent selection of scene modes, 1080p HD video recording
  • Some noise issues even at low ISO, usability could be improved, no manual mode
  • A solid all-rounder with an impressive zoom range and a pocket-friendly size, but lacks a real killer feature...
