  • Easy-to-use Coolpix Connect e-mail feature. Attractive design. Excellent 3-inch LCD screen. Nice price considering all its abilities. Very good image quality.
  • Some wireless functions can be confusing. Performance could be better. Noticeable shutter lag. Cant e-mail full-resolution shots.
  • Nikon takes the lead in the wireless-camera race by including some novel features on its cool new shooter, such as the ability to e-mail your photos directly from the device. Still, its far from perfect....

  • Abstract:  The Coolpix S7c ($350) is the update to the Coolpix S6, which was one of Nikons first cameras to support Wi-Fi. The S7c supports Wi-Fi too -- in fact, its been enhanced over its predecessor. While before you could just transfer photos to your comp...

  • Camera slow in low-light Lens placement gets fingers in the shot Shutdown is delayed Soft corners, especially at wide angle Noise suppression blurs fine detail High chromatic aberration at wide angle Slight warm cast in both Auto and Incandescent modes
  • Small digicams are not famous for their image quality. The Nikon Coolpix S7c starts from that premise but taps into some smart electronics to compensate for the compromises. As a result, the Coolpix S7c is as attractive for its image quality as it is f...

  • Excellent image quality; full-featured; ability to e-mail photos directly from the camera.
  • Can be difficult to get out of the WiFi e-mail mode.
  • If you’re looking for a full-featured, take anywhere, point-and-shoot camera that delivers excellent image quality, the Nikon Coolpix S7c is a great choice. Its ease of use and convenient WiFi features add great value to an already fine camera.

  • The Nikon Coolpix S7c is is best described as an incremental upgrade of the older 6 megapixel S6 camera, adding a few new features, some of which are more beneficial than others. The upgrade to a 7 megapixel sensor is more important to the Nikon marke...

  • Great click wheel; attractive, slim design; supports photo e-mail from T-Mobile access points; solid color reproduction.
  • Annoying top buttons; no proxy Wi-Fi access other than T-Mobile.
  • Nikon adds T-Mobile hot-spot access to its slim Wi-Fi camera and continues to deliver the image quality we enjoyed in the S6.
