  • The Panasonic Lumix's POWER O.I.S. helps stabilize the camera when you record video, making them less blurry.
  • The lens only has a 24x zoom, which is lower than many other bridge cameras on our lineup.
  • With a variety of creative controls and manual controls, it's hard to ignore the power of the Panasonic Lumix FZ60....

  • Great image quality at base ISO, Excellent high ISO noise performance, Programmable Fn buttons, New Creative control filters.
  • Narrower zoom range than rivals, Disappointing burst shooting, No RAW mode, Fixed non-articulated LCD screen.
  • Panasonic Lumix FZ60 / FZ62 verdict The Panasonic Lumix FZ60 / FZ62 is one of two new super-zooms announced by the company in July 2012 and a more affordable version of the premium Lumix FZ200. It shares the more expensive model's 24x zoom range and...

  • There was a time when we were scornful of these super-zoom pseudo SLRs. The viewfinders were woeful. The shutter lag was so extreme it was impossible to capture moving subjects. And on some models the EVF blacked out when the shutter button was pressed. T...

  • Picture quality is generally good, although resolution falls off slightly at extreme telephoto. Video quality is excellent with the Active Mode stabilisation smoothing out walkingwithcamera sequences. Playback from the SD card through a Panasonic BluRay p
  • The electronic viewfinder is not up with the best of the breed in colour, contrast and resolution. It is handy for framing in bright light but does not give an accurate representation of the subject

  • 24x optical zoom. Images have good colour rendition. Good-quality sound from the built-in microphone. Very fast autofocus
  • No automatic detector to switch between EVF and screen. JPEG only. Has the tendency to overexpose photos and video
  • The FZ60 offers a lengthy optical zoom in a well-featured package, but image purists won't be satisfied with just JPEG capture and a steep price....
