  • The Pentax K10D is a high-quality camera with some innovative features not seen on other bodies in its price range. The K10D is the lightest smallest body that has extensive weather and dust sealing. Its backwards compatibility gives a photographer acc...

  • Abstract:  The camera’s shutter is designed to withstand 100,000 releases and is especially quiet, something wedding photographers will appreciate. It has a top speed of 1/4000 sec and a flash synchronization speed of 1/180 sec. The K10D offers continuous shoo...

  • Very warm color balance in low-lighting and warm outdoors Auto white balance had a hard time with household incandescent lighting Shadow detail lacking in JPEG images Slightly high contrast, especially outdoors in full sun Phantom pixels with contrasty...
  • The Pentax K10D is unique. Its easily Pentaxs most capable SLR yet. But its not for everyone. Tuned for the advanced photographer, or anyone wanting to discover Photographys basics, the K10D has no true "easy" mode. You have to understand...

  • Built-in Shake Reduction system, Dust and weather-resistant seals, Unique shooting modes and RAW options, Switches for metering and focus areas

  • One thing should be clear from our comments so far: the K10D is not the greatest performer using its default settings. If you want a camera that takes great-looking JPEGs straight out the box, then look elsewhere. Shooting alongside the K10D with a Ni...
