  • Easy setup, Works with many messenger programs, Relatively inexpensive, VX-3000
  • Mic voice pickup is low, Large call button gets in the way during adjusting, Must use Windows Live with blogging and Call button features, Zooming lessens picture quality significantly, Video and pictures slightly grainy, Clunky face tracking.
  • I found that I did not really care for the face tracking, as it seemed clunky to me. The camera will follow your face around when you move, and even though it may seem like a good idea, often it just makes the camera feel jerky. It’ll adjust zoom an...

  • High resolution, versatile mount
  • Expensive
  • Webcams grow more sophisticated every day, and Microsoft recently entered the market with some high-end models of its own. One good example is the LifeCam VX-6000, which is geared toward desktop use. However, this smartly designed device plays nicely ...

  • A good web cam for users with multiple people to put in the shot, or single users who don't mind extra space around the subject and features an easy to use, quality control panel. The LifeCam VX-6000 will be worth the money for most users....

  • Easy to set up and use. Works with all major instant-messaging clients. Includes pan, tilt, and zoom control.
  • Doesnt work consistently with every messaging client. Mic volume needs to be turned up high in order to pick up sound.
  • This is a reasonably priced webcam with some nice features, including face-tracking, but we wish the built-in mic worked better....

  • Simple Install, Small and easy to position, Outstanding 1.3 Mega Pixel resolution, Ready to use out of the box, User friendly
  • N/A
  • The Microsoft LifeCam VX6000 is a remarkable webcam that produces quality video; video that more resembles a video camera movie than a simple webcam recording. 1.3 Mega Pixel video resolution coupled with flawless motion capture and great response, ma...

  • Flexible stand; adjustable camera; call button launches contacts; can post photos to blogs through software.
  • Call button gets in the way while adjusting; must install Windows Live Messenger; subpar video effects; delay in starting video.
  • The Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000 offers unique features such as the ability to post photos directly to a blog, but its video effects and image quality dont stand up to that of competing Webcams from veteran manufacturers.
