  • Abstract:  It's official: micro-towers are now definitely a “thing.” Unfortunately for DIYers, being able to truly build from scratch hasn't been an option—until now.Meet Silverstone's Raven RVZ01, a micro-tower that somewhat resembles a game console but has enough ...

  • Orientation options, Thin and compact, Long graphics card support, Superb build quality
  • Hardware restrictions, Build difficulty
  • There are a lot of things to say about the Silverstone RVZ01 mini-ITX chassis. Let us first start with the design and layout of the case. The RVZ01 is indeed a very unique case and the layout explains that a lot. I cannot see any flaw with regards to the ...

  • Excellent use of space, Very good price - especially in Europe, Long GPUs of up to 330 mm in length will fit, Use of high-quality PCB to route PCIe lanes, Splitter for the two fans included, Two slim fans included, Magnetic dust filters for all case fan v
  • The use of low-profile coolers is limiting, Can only hold slim fans, Dust filters don't look as sexy as the rest of the chassis, SFX PSU results in a higher initial investment
  • The Silverstone Raven RVZ01 goes for under 80 euro including taxes or 99 US dollars excluding taxes. Excellent use of space Very good price - especially in Europe Long GPUs of up to 330 mm in length will fit Use of high-quality PCB to route PCIe lanes Spl...

  • While the Raven RVZ01 was undoubtedly created as a showcase for some of their other products, SilverStone would have been hard pressed to design something better regardless, at least with these dimensions. The allocated space is used wisely, forgoing ...

  • Over the past 6 years I have watched the small form factor gaming market grow from basically nothing into what we have today. We now have heatsinks that are designed to handle the heat of high performance CPUs that fit in almost no space, high end video ...

  • Small Form Factor (14 Big Slam Pepsi Bottles), SFX Power Supply, Video Card Support up to 13 inches, Only Four Inches Thick, Positive Air Pressure Design
  • Cooling fans are not PWM controlled, Not much room for cable management, Watercooling is configuration dependent
  • One of the biggest hurdles when building a small form factor machine is the case. For far too long enthusiasts have avoided building Mini-ITX systems due to the lack luster case selection that either forced us to use toaster style cases or revert to a lar...

  • The Raven Z RVZ01's unique design that is only slightly bigger than an Xbox One yet it can accommodate the R9 290 and still manages to cost well under $100.
  • Confusing design but the manual helps. Also, depending on what you want to do, Silverstone's ST45SFG (the most powerful PSU for this system) might be a little tight.
