Case SilverStone RVX01 produces a mixed impression. Probably, lovers of unusual and innovative will be very happy with them: even a “mirror” of the body at which access to the components is done right, are rare, and as such “double shifter” is not only mi...
Signature RAVEN aesthetics and layout, Trim color options, Package bundling
Hardware installation and cable management difficulty
Building with the SilverStone RVX01 is one great adventure I have to say. It has some thrills, challenges and things you really need to consider before getting one. Let us break it down to certain things most would be looking at when buying a case.Aesthet...
Aggressive Styling, Affordable, Solid Construction, 120mm Air Penetrator Fans, Available in Colors, AIO Cooler Support, Modding Options Available
No external 5.25” drive bays, Limited cable routing options, May work best with smaller motherboard
When doing case reviews I like to explore modding options and see what can be done easily to personalize the case. This exercise has gotten difficult over the years but, there is always something that can be done. The side window on this case is held in p...
Finish quality, 90 degree rotated motherboard, Overall design idea/Airflow, Well built for the price,
No cable management space, Non removable drive cage area, Tight space around motherboard, Fan filter removed from back only, Fan wires too short for routing, No PSU fan filter
My opinion is that the Silverstone RVX01 is a decent case for someone who may not care that much about what their case actually does, but instead more focused on what it looks like. Don't get me wrong, I think it looks good and the quality is great as wel...

The RVX01 offers great cooling performance (quiet too, despite lacking a fan controller) and is 11% thinner/13% shorter than the RV05, which could be a boon for space
The case's cable management is laborious and its CPU cooler/PSU support is mediocre. Competition is stiff and the $80 Corsair Graphite 230T is 10% smaller yet supports taller CPU coolers, rear mobo cable management and more.
To ensure accurate thermal results, we installed the same hardware in each case in virtually the same way. Components included the Asrock Fatal1ty 990FX Professional, Phenom II X6 1100T, Prolimatech Megahalems in passive mode (i.e. no fan actively dispell...
Offers something different for £65, Not as bulky as previous Ravens, Has good cooling potential
Hardly any room behind mobo tray, Interior feels cramped throughout, Rotated layout has lost its lustre, Short cabling on bundled fans
If you're on the lookout for a new chassis, a handful of well-known manufacturers are usually first to spring to mind. SilverStone should be among this established group, as the Taiwanese company has developed a storied range of enclosures that come in al...
The RVX01 definitely achieves its aim of bringing superior air-cooling to a lower price point, but we're not convinced that's enough to warrant it a recommendation unless that's your top priority. The bulky plastic exterior means that the RVX01 is fairly...

Excellent value for money, Great gaming-focused design, Bottom to top airflow design, Three high-quality fans pre-installed, Three colour options available, Support for large graphics cards, Dust filters,
Installation can be a little tricky (but you typically only have to do it once anyway), Not a huge amount of storage bays, Limited cable management, “The Silverstone RVX01 is one of the best looking and more compact gaming chassis in its class, but it can
PricingThe Silverstone Raven RVX01 is available from Scan Computers for a very reasonable £64.99 for the non-windowed version, the very same one we reviewed today. The windowed version isn't much more, at just £68.95. That's a strong place to be for a sty...
Stylish design, Excellent cooling performance, Three cooling fans included, Condensed but can still house highend kit
Installation can be tricky, Disposable PCI covers, Cable management is tough
Having such a highly revered computer chassis line demands creativity. SilverStone's Raven Series has been a firm favourite over the years and yet throughout each iteration there have been some significant improvements made – highlighting the fact that th...
