  • For a part that most people don’t think too strongly about, this cooler proves to be a great asset. The UFO design looks stylish, as opposed to gimmicky. The cooling ability is very good, and should prove capable for decent overclocking. The fans po...

  • My accolades to GlacialTech for their first attempt at what I would call and all-around heavy duty cooler that is at home on an older AMD 939 socket as it is on a new Intel I7 motherboard. The number while not the best we have seen, it is still a con...

  • Abstract:  At its core, Glacialtech have equipped the 136mm tall UFO V51 Silent heatsink with two 1600RPM fans surrounding a large aluminum fin array, and framed in by a plastic casing that acts like a shroud to duct air through it. The heatsink weighs 780grams...

  • Abstract:  The fans on the UFO V51 are quite audible at full speed, performance is more than acceptable though, undervolting the fans to minimum speed makes them almost dead quiet, but performance suffers noticeably, a setting in between 7~9v would provide the best performance/noise ratio..

  • Low noise, Great cooling, Stylish looks, Compatible with many platforms
  • Large size, Nonvariable RPM overclockers may want to consider the PWM version for more control
  • The GlacialTech UFO V51 is an impressive piece of cooling hardware that lives up to its moniker. Resembling a mammoth spacecraft hovering over a futuristic metropolis abducting the citizens below, this well-crafted device teleports heat away from the ...

  • As seen in PCWizKids video review, the UFO 51 Cooler is indeed a stylish and very effective CPU cooler able to keep the latest Phenom II CPU at a low 30C Celsius on idle and a max of 50C Celsius on 100% full load on all 4 cores. Not only is the Glaci...

  • Unique design is sure to catch some eyes, Quiet operation (despite having two fans), Silent and PWM versions available, Broad compatibility
  • Size may make installation difficult on some motherboards/cases
  • The GlacialTech UFO V51 is bound to turn some heads to look inside your case. It's probably the most unique looking CPU cooler that we have reviewed here to date! On top of flashy looks, this cooler still manages to perform up to par with what I'd...

  • Ever since i reviewed the Igloo 5750 by GlacialTech i had high hopes for them and i was expecting to see when they would venture into the High End CPU Cooler area. With the arrival of the UFO V51 they managed to meet my expectations. The UFO...

  • Pretty looking in a plastic sort of way, i7 “compatible” or at least as compatible as the other options, Quiet fans
  • Price, No backplate, “Minimally Exceptional” / Sub optimal installation procedure, “Minimally Exceptional” / Sub optimal performance results, Way to much plastic used, Built for gamers? Nope.
  • Simply put, the GlacialTech UFO V51 is a classic example of form over function. On the surface there really isn’t a lot to find fault with, as it’s a fairly standard downdraft cooler with a low noise profile. Unfortunately, when you start to u...
