  • Generous capacity; upgradable storage; excellent file-transfer performance
  • Expensive; time-consuming, potentially troublesome installation; install must be done on a Windows PC; few additional features beyond what default OS offers
  • The D400 offers super-fast file transfers, lots of storage, and plenty of room to grow. But its long, possibly balky installation, as well as high price, tarnish its appeal....

  • Features are stable. Hardware runs quiet. Sturdy construction. Utility makes mapping drive letters a breeze.
  • Power savings feature is too complex for average users. Uses low-end processor.
  • The Lenovo IdeaCentre D400 is a good product for small businesses or homes that don't do a lot of media streaming....
