  • Super-fast transfers, Personal Cloud lets you access files remotely, Automated uploads to Facebook, Versatile storage
  • Bland design, Cloud service hard to configure
  • The Iomega StorCenter ix2-dl not only backs up your files, but makes short work of posting photos and videos to your social networks.

  • Easy to set up and use, Strong security settings, Great remote-access and sharing capabilities, Surveillance-camera support
  • Diskless version is pricey, Mixed file-transfer performance, Mac Time Machine support requires installing software
  • A dual-bay device you can buy with or without drives, the ix2 is a feature-rich network-storage solution. It stands apart for its ability to also work as a hub for IP surveillance cameras. Read More...

  • Very good Read/Write performance. Feature-loaded. Robust video surveillance capabilities. Plenty of data backup and redundancy options. Integration with various social networking sites and multimedia services like YouTube. Drives easy to install and remov
  • Clunky personal cloud set-up process
  • The Iomega StorCenter ix2-dl is a very good NAS option that can work for power home users or small business. A nice feature set, data redundancy and business capabilities make it almost perfect with the exception of a potentially headache-inducing person...

  • The Iomega StorCenter ix2 is a great little NAS in the right environment. The ease of installation is definitely in favour for the SOHO market where technical expertise may not be immediately available. The lack of ability to quickly access the hard ...

  • The size of a brick, its by far the smallest drive in our test. Energy Starcompliant power adapter. Simple Webbased admin. Cheap.
  • Does not work with Apples Time Machine. Power button smaller than a grain of rice. Drives arent serviceable. Lack of Web access is simply a dealkiller, though Iomega says its due shortly.

  • Large power supply; can pick up a non-mirrored 1TB Nas far cheaper
  • A simple, if fairly expensive, way to add 1TB of secure network storage for backups ...
