  • Ease-of-use, Product design, App support, Web-based tools
  • Limited functionality in some apps
  • It's suitable for most home users, and if you're a freelancer or work in a small office, and are taking your first steps into the NAS world, it's also product we'd highly recommend...

  • Cannot sync with other WD NAS boxes, Moderately slow performance
  • WD's My Cloud Mirror doesn't deliver barn-burning performance, but it's very easy to set up and use and it delivers most everything you could want in a consumer NAS box....

  • Compact, efficient, silent design, Excellent network throughput, Great out of the box / setup experience, Lower cost than My Cloud EX2
  • Reduced feature set as compared to the My Cloud EX2, exFAT not supported on USB devices
  • The Western Digital My Cloud Mirror rounds out WD's My Cloud suite of devices nicely. It keeps the same stellar performance of the EX line devices, as well as carrying down many of the features and apps present on the EX2. RAID adds much needed redundancy...
