  • Simple, classy design, Welldesigned keycaps to take advantage of backlighting, Solid construction
  • Only one switch option, No RGB, USB passthrough is 2.0 only, No macro
  • The Das keyboard Prime 13 is a solid option if you want a clean board with a reliable typing experience for a competitive price. Just make sure you won't miss the fancy extras like customizable lighting or USB 3.0. $129...

  • Balanced sound that doesn't go over the top in any particular range, Decent spatial positioning, Solid microphone (for the price), Flat, long and tangle-free cable, Comfortable if adjusted properly, Solid value for money
  • Not very pretty, The in-line module with a volume dial and a microphone mute button/switch is absent, The glossy plastic around the ear cups gets dirty fast and doesn't feel very sturdy
  • The Das Keyboard Prime 13 costs $149 for the 104-key ANSI layout from Das Keyboard directly and third-party retailers in the USA. Das Keyboard also offers a 15% military and 20% student discount for customers in the continental USA. Excellent build qualit...

  • The Prime 13 from Das Keyboard is the easily one of the nicest keyboards I've ever used, with a tremendous build quality and understated design that I find very appealing. If minimalist design and simple white backlighting are your preferences, and Cherry...

  • Handsome, sturdy metal frame, Cherry MX Brown switches, One 2.0 USB pass-through, Uses only one USB 3.0 port without pass-through, Six-step brightness control
  • No dedicated media keys, Sign-key symbols reversed, Only standard sign-key functions lit, No volume dial or headphone/mic input, Pricey for feature set
  • It's exceptionally well crafted, but the Prime 13 offers significantly less than Das Keyboard's own model 4 Pro in exchange for white backlighting. Read More…...

  • High quality design and construction, Finally, a Das Keyboard with an LED backlight, Auto-dimming feature is a thoughtful inclusion, Long, braided cable (6.5 feet), N-key rollover (NKRO) over USB
  • Just one backlight color (white), No dedicated macro or media keys, Cherry MX Brown is the only key switch option (for now), Pricey for a keyboard with a minimalist design
  • Find The Das Keyboard Prime 13 At AmazonDas Keyboard has been busy in 2016. Towards the beginning of the year, it introduced the X40 Pro, a mechanical keyboard for gamers under its newly formed Division Zero gaming unit. Now, several months later we have...

  • Superb typing experience from Cherry MX brown switches. Sturdy
  • Only one USB 2.0, a downgrade from the two USB 3.0 ports found on the Das Professional 4. Keys with shift functions not evenly lit due to how Das has positioned the symbols.

  • Strong typing experience, Attractive, minimalist design, Well-implemented basic features,
  • Expensive, White backlight only, USB hub supports 2.0 standard, not 3.0, No dedicated multimedia controls, headphone, and microphone jacks
  • A strong performer with a no-frills design, the Das Keyboard Prime 13 is a fine example of a modern mechanical keyboard—though you'll have to pay quite a bit for what you get...

  • In the end, we see that history does tend to repeat itself, and everything we loved about Das Keyboard products rings true in this latest design. The PRIME 13 has been a pleasure to use, it is near silent if used with soft hands, but can tend to "clack"...
