  • Very competitive price, Manages to run at 1600 MHz CL 8, Overclocks very well at CL 9, No need to raise the voltage over JEDEC spec, runs just as fast on 1.5 V, Good for those whose mainboad or CPU cannot handle a high base clock, Every bump in CL gives y...
  • Raise in voltage yields no further raise in performance, No headroom above 1600 MHz at CL8, 1774 MHz is the end of the line no matter what latency, Memory gets quite hot during use, No real model or series name if someone tells you "grab the F312800CL9T6G...
  • The G.Skill F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ 6 GB kit runs and does so well. Considering the low entry price it certainly takes a bit of the "hurt" out of shelling out all that money on an i7 plattform. Considering that the memory runs you just under 100 €s in ret...

  • So I kind of really liked this G.Skill memory kit. While not the highest enthusiast memory kit available that would reach 2000 MHz, it certainly showed us really good potential. Fact is that if you are planning your Core i7 rig to run at 1600 MHz .. t...

  • The memory situation with the Core i7 appears to be similar to that of the Core 2 processors, at least for now anyway. That said the Core i7 processors do appear to be able to utilize the massive bandwidths of the higher clocked DDR3 memory for example...

  • Good Performance, Looks Nice, Ran Really Cool, 6GB and 3GB Kit With 3GB 1333MHz Variant, Very Stable, Plug And Play, Prices And Kits For Every Segment Of The Market
  • Not Designed For Overclocking
  • The G.Skill kit did really good for an early release kit. Considering it costs $279.99 for a 6GB kit and the Kingston costs $334 for a 3GB kit, its twice the memory for less than what the Kingston kit costs. Of course with the Kingston kit, youre ru...

  • overclocking headroomRuns cool under load, Lifetime warranty
  • 777 / 888 overclocking could be better
  • When we first heard that Core i7 processors would require new triple-channel memory kits, we couldnt help but feel that upgrading to this latest generation would create an unprecedented drain on the bank accounts of enthusiasts the world over. Thankfu...

  • Decent overclocking headroom, These DIMMs sure are purty in red
  • Patchy performance at stock speeds and beyond, Too expensive compared to the competition
  • Initial impressions do not bode well for the GSkill Tri-Channel 1600MHz. Judged purely on the official specifications, this admittedly snazzy-looking 6GB triple-channel kit shouldn't stand a snowball's. After all, at £135 it's more expensive than both ...
