  • Beautiful screen, Excellent backlit keyboard, Perfect size for portability and power
  • Noticeable Display Lag, NonRetina supported apps look terrible, No dedicated graphics card
  • The 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro is just a beautiful device in general from how it is designed and the quality of images the high-resolution display produces. Everything that is physically good from Apple's line of notebooks will be found on this one but lo...

  • Abstract:  In the spring of 2012, Apple made a breakthrough on the laptop market and released its first MacBook Pro with a Retina display, boasting a really high resolution of 2880x1800 pixels. Moreover, the much thinner novelty offered the same performance as it...

  • The MacBook Pro with Retina Display hasn't quite dipped into the consumer laptop price range. The MacBook Air's flag is still firmly planted in that territory. But it is inching closer. For $300 more than the 13-inch Air, the entry-level rMBP gives you bet...

  • Amazing display. Thin and light, only about half a pound heavier than MacBook Air. Flash memory is super fast. $500 cheaper than 15inch version. Many more apps are Retinaenhanced than when the 15inch model first came out.
  • Can't upgrade RAM at all. Can't upgrade storage after initial purchase. No quadcore option or discrete graphics card. Apps not updated for Retina display are unbearably blurry

  • Stunning super-high-res screen, First-class construction and software experience, Great battery life
  • Expensive, especially compared to 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro, Integrated graphics
  • Apple gives the razor-sharp-screen treatment to its 13-inch MacBook Pro, creating a 3.6-pound ultrabook killer for digital content creators. ...

  • Slimmer chassis with lower weight, Build quality, fit and feel, overall sturdyness, HDMI and USB 3.0 are on board, Very good input devices, keyboard backlight, High resolution IPS display with 227 DPI, Convincing performance, Speakers sound very good, Bat
  • Port selection somewhat limited, No dongles included, System is not expandable, Warranty is only 12 months, Not many BTO options, Display brightness fluctuates; bleeding is an issue
  • Apple MacBook Pro 13 Retina (Late 2012) The Apple MacBook Pro 13 with Retina is a logical addition to the Apple portfolio. The new member is a lot lighter than the regular Pro and more portable than the larger MacBook Pro 15 Retina . Visually the two sys...

  • In terms of actual performance, the Intel i5 processor isn't as fast as the quad-core i7 I'm used to - which is obvious, but it was interesting to see the difference. Encoding a two-and-a-half hour video took an hour longer than on my own laptop. So w...
