  • Decent price for a 12-inch tablet with a keyboard and pen, Good performance and excellent battery life, Fantastic speakers and good I/O support
  • RAM and storage are meager, with no upgrade options, Keyboard is flimsy and pen is very basic, Chrome OS in tablet mode isn't great
  • The HP Chromebook x2 is the best detachable Chrome tablet you can buy, but you might be better off buying a straight Chrome laptop instead...

  • Very expensive for a Chrome OS device with only 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage, which is limiting for Linux. A good Linux experience but not a full Linux experience,
  • The important thing when deciding whether to buy a Chromebook x2 is to know what you're getting. You won't be running pure Linux with the distro of your choice, but you will get a good deal of the experience with a huge number of Android apps...
