Sharp design and good build quality; comfortable keyboard and touch pad; backlit keys; lengthy battery life without bulky battery; two-year warranty.
Awful speakers, even for a midsize laptop.

Sturdy construction and pleasing overall design; comfortable keyboard and touchpad; backlit keys; lengthy battery life without bulky battery; a twice-as-nice two-year warranty.
Uses integrated graphics while other laptops at this price feature dedicated graphics; poor speakers, even for integrated standards.

Good General Performance, Long Battery Life, Stylish Metal Case
Integrated Graphics, Keyboard And Case Flex Too Much, Limited Peripheral Ports
11/21/08 - Toshibas Satellite E105-S1402 laptop does an extremely good job at providing solid performance and battery life. The stylish aluminum clad 14.1-inch laptop looks and feel better than most laptops with their plastic cases but the keyboard an...
Boxy design wont appeal to all; lacks expansion card slot and FireWire; lousy speakers.
The 14.1-inch Toshiba Satellite E105 is a solid all-around laptop that delivers on Best Buys Blue Label promises: longer battery life, lightweight design, and lengthy warranty. Price range: $1,099.99
