  • The Toshiba Satellite L755-S5166 covers all bases of what constitutes a decent laptop experience, for the most part
  • For about the same price, alternatives are out there that offer bigger bang, and better processors, for the buck. This machine excels at little, and it's bulky, too
  • The Toshiba Satellite L755-S5166 is neither the best value nor the best total package, but it's a fine middle-of-the-road laptop. However, odds are that better, newer versions are right around the corner.

  • Attractive design, Crisp, vibrant display, Good performance for a budget laptop, Decent frame rates for low-end games
  • A bit hefty, Washed-out colors on webcam, Loud mouse buttons
  • The Toshiba Satellite L755-S5166 is a 15-inch laptop that delivers good performance and stylish looks for less than $600.

  • Good keyboard, Decent speakers, Good overall performance,
  • Price too high for what's included, Glossy plastic everywhere, Touchpad buttons too loud,
  • The L755 fits the bill for a basic home computer but is uninspiring and ultimately tough to recommend because of its relatively high price. Its quality and feature set are as expected for a budget notebook and nothing more. The L755's highlights include a good keyboard and a decent set of speakers; it runs cool as well. It is fast enough for everything except 3D games. The only aspect of the L755

  • Abstract:  The Toshiba Satellite L755-S5258 might have the looks of an economy laptop, but it surely has some power under its hood. Unfortunately, the cheap construction and cheap exteriors of the Satellite L755-S5258 aren’t sufficient to make up for the incredib...

  • Gorgeous, huge screen, solid performance on all fronts, great value for the price
  • Trackpad feels indeterminate; no USB 3.0 ports; traditional keyboard not as responsive as newer ‘chicklet' types
  • Toshiba has done a great job staking out territory in the middle ground of the notebook price range, making stylish and solid performing laptops with distinctive features in the S4250 and S5258. The S4250 is a great audio system, and the S5258 delivers...

  • Fn key didn't work, Trackpad is tiny

  • Budget price, Includes memory card reader, HDMI Port, 720p display,
  • Short battery life, No WiMAX, WiDi, USB 3,0,
  • The Toshiba Satellite L755-S5214 will suffice for everyday tasks like word processing and surfing the Internet, and will do so without burning a hole in your pocket. But those looking for speed, power, and long battery life should look elsewhere. ...

  • New mature design. Light weight. Good battery life. Intel Core i32310M processor provides both processing power and graphics processing. 5 hour batterylife,
  • Slight flexing in the chassis. Keyboard layout may not please everyone.
