  • Large format prints and scans; multiple connection options; automatic duplexing; inexpensive ink-cost per page when using high capacity cartridges.
  • Paper jams and misfeeds were common; paper trays were difficult to adjust; prints on Brother’s glossy photo paper were unattractive.

  • If you want wide-format printing capabilities, you need a machine like the Brother MFC-6890CDW. But this model is so expensive and slow that my enthusiasm for it is lukewarm at best....

  • Excellent print quality, Easy to set up wired / wireless networking, Ink doesnt leave plain paper soggy
  • Some slow print speeds, especially across the network, Jumbo size may challenge small offices, Expensive
  • Brother has done it again, putting out a top-quality color inkjet printer that can handle just about any small-office tasks with skill and good results. Its slow print speeds across a wireless network make it less than optimal for lots of small print j...

  • Good print quality, comprehensive feature set, A3 media capability, function lock, reasonable running costs
  • Poor quality LCD panel, slow print speeds, no Web-based interface
  • Despite slow print speeds, Brother’s MFC-6890CDW multifunction printer provides quality A3 prints backed by a comprehensive feature set. It won’t replace a dedicated photo printer, but can produce in-house marketing materials with good results...

  • Abstract:  Ultimately it has to be asked whether the advantages of having affordable A3 printing in the home are outweighed by the painfully slow printing process and at best indifferent output quality offered by the MFC-6890CDW. Brother - MFC-6890CDW All-in-One...

  • Abstract:  I get the chance to look at a lot of A4 multi function machines but very few A3 ones often because of the size; those I do see are normally laser units here just for a change is an A3 ink jet offering from Brother....

  • The MFC-6890CDW is a fine MFD for a small office, and a fantastic one for a home user. It is extremely well featured, from the wireless connection to the duplex printing, and of course its wonderful A3 scan/print support. Our only significant criticis...
