  • Abstract:  The Phaser 6180MFP is a well-designed machine with a few notable shortcomings. An office that needs to generate decent graphics should still consider it seriously--it's the best model we've seen so far at that task--but it's an expensive proposition otherwise.

  • Fast. High-quality text. Reasonably high-quality graphics. Good paper handling.
  • Scanning over a network is harder to set up than it should be. Fax-from-PC feature is hidden in the driver.
  • The Xerox Phaser 6180MFP/N delivers fast print speed, high-quality output, and good paper handling, but it drops the ball on usability for faxing and scanning....

  • Excellent text and graphics, fast printing.
  • The printer stops to calibrate itself from time to time.

  • Abstract:  Xerox has a good range of office laser printers, both monochrome and colour, designed for SME and even corporate departments. Its Phaser 6180 comes in both V and V/DN variants and it's the V/DN model, with networking and duplex printing built in, that we'...

  • Very good design; good print quality, Very fast at printing text
  • Slow at printing graphics; costly toner, Expensive
  • This higher-end color laser MFP offers good performance and features, but its not for the budget-conscious.

  • Small footprint, $199 duplexer option.
  • Low photo quality, Ugly manual tray design.
  • The Phaser 6180/N does better at printing text than photos.

  • Abstract:  Whenever I think of the name Xerox, I think high-quality color laser and multifunction copiers. The Phaser 6180N that we’ll be reviewing today is a mid-range color laser from Xerox and has tons of great features. The Phaser 6180N is equipped with Et...

  • Speedy document printing; includes duplexing; PostScript 3 compatibility; driver and network utility are user-friendly.
  • Some colors are dull; shadow detail in photos is lacking; slow when printing photos.
  • The Phaser 6180/DN’s speediness, user friendliness, and superior text quality add up to a fine color laser printer. Though you won’t get premium color or image quality, the 6180/DN’s generous set of features won’t leave you ...

  • Abstract:  Under-$500 color laser printers have become the happy discoveries that under-$1,000 color lasers were a couple of years ago. Even inkjet shoppers, for instance, would be smart to take a look at Xeroxs new entry: If its standard Ethernet as well as USB...

  • Fast; high-quality prints; decent per-page costs; toll-free phone support.
  • A little pricey; color printing could use some slight improvements.
  • We really like the office-oriented Xerox 6180/N for its quick, high-quality prints, but the Lexmark C530dn provides more bang for your buck and slightly better quality.
