  • Comprehensive range of protection, Quite fast and light on resources, Effective Linkscanner and online protection
  • Poorly designed interface, Advanced options not particularly easy to configure, Loads tools as separate processes
  • AVG 8.0 is capable enough, but isn’t nearly as easy to use or configure as many other security suites.

  • Poor anti-spam; range of protection modules can be confusing; multi-licence version is expensive
