Although it offers a complete package, including virus and malware protection, tune-up utilities, and online backup, this suite’s parental controls really shine.
Simple, effective spam filter. Well designed private data protection. Unusually complete parental controls. Remote management through network map. Encrypted vault folder can be sealed remotely.
Heavier performance impact than last year. Poor cleanup of detected malware. Poor phishing protection. System tuner now offers no details about what it will do or what it has done.
Trend Micro promised improvements in this years version of its suite, particularly in performance impact, but overall I saw little change. Internet Security Pro still offers good protection, but it may be left behind if it doesnt move forward....
