1920x1200 display, micro HDMI port, An upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean should be available in a month or so
Beautiful 1920 x 1200 HD display, Great battery life, Good sound
Performance issues, Touch screen issues, The Acer Iconia A700's screen is beautiful, Product | $449, Acer Iconia A700 Review Guide, Design, Display, Performance and Hardware, Battery Life, Camera: Video and Photo Samples, Apps, Is it Worth $449, Gallery,
The great looking display makes the Iconia A700 a tempting tablet, but performance issues take away from the overall value. As a tablet primarily used to watch movies and TV shows with general use thrown in it is an ok tablet, but is tough to recommend giv...
High resolution panel looks good and is on its way to become a musthave on new generation tablets. Great battery life. Android 4.0 (sort of, see below).
Sluggish performance. The A700 may be in desperate need of an upgrade to Jelly Bean to correct some of its performance ackwardness. Hardware feels subpar for a premiumpriced tablet. Software customizations not all that useful.
The Acer Iconia Tab A700 is an appropriate upgrade to Acer's earlier efforts, but it doesn't really go far enough to make it a viable choice for new tablet buyers. Its sluggish performance and cheap feel make it hard to recommend against the Asus Transfor...

Big, beautiful, high-res display, Dolby Mobile audio surprisingly effective; big, full sound, Excellent responsiveness to screen rotations, Small but decent selection of pre-loaded apps
Frame rates not as smooth as we'd hoped, Build quality issues with backlight, overheating, Our model's camera was on the fritz, A bit on the heavy side, but it's not a dealbreaker, Conclusion, The A700 feels like an ambitious device that maybe was releas
The A700 feels like an ambitious device that maybe was released a little too early. With some more time spent finalizing engineering issues, perhaps some of those hardware problems we spoke of could have been adequately addressed. The heat problem, espe...

Right now, only the Acer Iconia Tab A700 and the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 have 1920 x 1200 displays. They go neck and neck with the New iPad and its Retina display and they have top CPU and storage specs plus USB host. But the A700's aging ...
Despite its young age and bleeding edge specs, the Iconia Tab A700 is already last generation’s news. Call it bad timing, call it lack of innovation, or call it the victim of the Nexus 7, but whatever way you cut it, the A700 is already a dated piece o...
Has a rear camera, full-size USB port, microSD support, Runs Android 4.0, Fast quad-core processor
Overheating issues, Interface feels laggy at times, No full USB port, Heavier and fatter than the iPad 3, Android tablet apps lag behind iPad, 10.1 inches is a bit too big
Like the A510 and A200 before it, Acer has built another solid tablet, but only for those willing to sacrifice a bit on style, weight, and size. It runs Android 4.0 and has good processing power, but it's heavier and bulkier than what we're now seeing f...

Abstract: Acer is one of those companies that's slowly making a lot of noise in the Android tablet world. With the release of the Iconia Tab A700, it marks the first Android tablet available with a 1080p display. Now it's not all about the display as there's plenty...
Abstract: I'm not going to lie: after reviewing the Toshiba Excite 7.7 and declaring the 7(ish)-inch form factor my favorite, it was an incredibly difficult task picking up the A700 and giving it a pure, objective review. It feels clunky, cumbersome, and heavy-a...
