Stunning display, Solid performance, Long battery life
No Touch ID, Relatively expensive
The iPad mini matches the full-sized iPad Air in display quality, design and performance. Just be prepared to pay more than you would have for last year's model....
Abstract: The $399 iPad mini (16 GB Wi-Fi) with Retina display is over $100 more expensive than the 16GB Nexus 7. It's also $100 more expensive than the original iPad mini model (without Retina display), costs exactly the same as a 16GB iPad 2, and is only $100 che...
Sleek, compact design, Fast A7 chip is up to the task of gaming, iOS 7, if you like the new interface, Same long battery life as before, Robust app ecosystem, Nice Retina display
Needs more system RAM, So-so camera performance, Very pricey for the segment, No Touch ID fingerprint sensor
From a design standpoint, there's really nothing to see here that wasn't seen already in the initial version of the iPad mini, but the overall package is far more compelling. The form factor suits those who are only interested in smaller tablets that can...

This is the iPad mini we were hoping for last year, and the iPad mini I didn't expect until next year, based on last year's specs. It's a pleasant surprise to see that Apple decided to keep what worked about last years iPad mini, while upgrading just abou...

Very portable, with a well built, well designed body. Retina display is very crisp, powered by fast, significantly upgraded hardware. iOS has by far the best selection of tablet apps going around.
Pricey, especially for storage upgrades and the cellular model. Display color gamut is lacking.
