  • Abstract:  After snagging the official MotoGP license from THQ in 2007, Capcom released MotoGP 07 on the PlayStation 2; a promising, if far too difficult, rebirth of a game license that had previously thrived in the hands of developer Climax and publisher THQ. Wi...

  • Three different series of bikes provide some nice variety, Excellent handling physics, Great track list, Fine sense of speed.
  • Game physics are sometimes haphazard, Career mode only lasts five seasons, Limited online options, Very little bike/rider customization.
  • MotoGP 08 is meat-and-potatoes racing with enough challenge to keep two-wheeled gearheads busy for a long time. ...

  • Abstract:  The MotoGP videogame franchises have been in a bit of a weird spot in past years with multiple publishers owning the rights to the license on different systems. So the MotoGP that youd play on the Xbox 360 would be different than the Sony titles, for ...

  • Good physics, realistic weather effects, lots of different control and simulation options, to suit all players. Features all of the official MotoGP licences.
  • Bland and outdated presentation and graphics, basic online multiplayer features, no local multiplayer, repetitive gameplay, lack of sound effects.

  • MotoGP 08 could have been more than just a slightly shinier PS2 update, but it still does little to capture or validate the depth of motorcycle racing. It’s wholesome fun for aficionados, though. 6.5/10Print this pageUser reviews (0)Share this pageN...

  • Official game of MotoGP 08, Features fully licensed riders, manufacturers and tracks, Solid gameplay mechanic, Impressive graphics, Nicely modeled bikes and tracks, Great wet weather effects
  • Doesnt do much to introduce non-fans to the franchise, Braking system feels loose and lacks grip, Presentation feels incomplete, Sound is strictly functional
  • The game is divided into Career, Championship, Quick Race, Time Attack, Challenges and Online. The Career mode is the central part of MotoGP 08. You can race in any of the three classes: 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP, each having the AI difficulty set a notc...
