  • Excellent story and writing; strategic combat; blends "relationship sim" and dungeoncrawling gameplay together well; female lead adds new story elements and twists; numerous interface improvements over previous versions.
  • Very long; downgraded visuals compared to previous versions; lacks "The Answer" epilogue story from Persona 3 FES.

  • Abstract:  I was already a pretty big fan of Atlus' Persona 3, and even of Persona 4, so it wasn't much of a stretch to figure that I would end up liking this PSP port of Persona 3 dubbed P3P, or Persona 3 Portable. In fact, even being a big fan that dumped 100 p...

  • Abstract:  "Can you play as a girl?" Back in 2007, those were the first words out of my then-girlfriend's mouth when I told her about Persona 3, Atlus' life-sim/dungeon crawl roleplayer that sees a secret band of Japanese high school students taking on demons dur...

  • Abstract:  Ah Persona. An often forgotten gem from the JRPG genre, the most established of the Shin Megami Tensei off-shoots that hasn’t received it’s just due from American audiences. It’s a shame, considering how the franchise (currently in its fourth entry) ha...
