Abstract: New Play Control Donkey Kong Jungle Beat enhances the GameCube game play you remember with a control scheme thats both streamlined and well executed. Its a deep, well designed plat-forming game that is so entertaining, it will seem shorter than it a...
Abstract: Less Distinctive but Still Terrific The original Jungle Beat was a solid, well-designed game, and removing the bongo drum gimmick does nothing to change that. At the same time, the New Play Control version is somewhat less distinctive than the previou...
Abstract: What happens when you take the bongos away from the ape? Bad things. Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat originally came out for the GameCube in 2005 and was heralded for its great old-school platforming. The hook of the game was that you used a bongo drum perip...

Abstract: About four years ago, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat was released for the Nintendo GameCube. At its core it was a semi-traditional 2D platformer that made use of an oddball control scheme. Due to the fact that you needed to use the GameCube's bongo peripheral...
Fantastic graphics, great gameplay, wonderful level designs and music
Short, very easy at first, intense waggle required
An entertaining, original and ambitious platformer, Donkey Kong Jungle beat sees well-deserved second life thanks to Nintendo’s New Play Control! line of games. ...
