The locations are quite well-rendered, at times beautiful and threatening. The animation is solid. There’s joy to be had in some of the combat quirks and flourishes.
Poorly written story. The characters are personality-free voids. The game fundamentally misunderstands the license it works with. The dialogue and voice-acting is uniformly awful. The combat system is repetitive and dull.
