  • Abstract:  The potential saviour of the exhausted epic action (hack-and-slash RPG, if you prefer) genre could soon be upon us. The 3D action RPG creation known as Too Human has been in development off and on for almost ten years, believe it or not. It first appea...

  • Abstract:  When youre thinking up ideas for the setting of a new action RPG game, a cybernetic future based around ancient Norse mythology has got to be pretty far down the list. Dont get me wrong, the combination is definitely intriguing and strangely appeal...

  • A constant supply of interesting weapons and armour, Combat can be fun when it gets in a groove, Skill trees give you a lot of room to mould your character, Co-op play can be enjoyable as long as both players are around the same level
  • The story doesnt get interesting until the final minutes, Too many elements chop up the pace, Area attacks and status effects are poorly implemented, Ranged combat is unsatisfying
  • This action/role-playing hybrid is too unbalanced and too frustrating to recommend. ...

  • Absorbing mix of melee and gunplay, unbelievable depth to character and equipment customisation, online co-op, tons of gorgeous gear
  • Senselessly long resurrection time, difficulty and balance issues, crappy automatic camera, uncooperative ballistics targeting, worthless cyberspace sequences
  • No, its not perfect but its still pretty damn fun. ...

  • Fun to play. Addictive RPG elements. Unique controls, that once you get used to are actually easy and fun to use. Much deeper than first appearances suggested. The final cut-scenes really bring the story together nicely.
  • Story does not flow well and only really comes together right at the end. Some may not like the unique controls. Camera can be a bit of a pain. Comes off a little unpolished in places.

  • Abstract:  They say that nobodys perfect, and this Microsoft action RPG is human in that respect. However, its a more than competent take on the Diablo formula, with a surprising amount of depth to the combat and item customisation. Microsoft - Too Human price...
