  • Original clips lend a nostalgic flavor.
  • Ugly, lowres textures, Punchless effects makes the action a bore, Lack of enemy variety makes the missions repetitive, Climactic battles reduced to disappointing quicktime events, No reason to come back after completing the fourhour campaign.

  • Voltron: Defender of the Universe may invoke some feelings of nostalgia for those of us who grew up in the Eighties, but that’s due solely to the cartoon clips that bookend each level – which you can probably watch for free on YouTube. The gameplay its...

  • Abstract:  Voltron, Defender of the Universe, has never really had a great game, unless you include the 2009 iPhone game which was pretty cool. There’s just never really been a truly great console game. With the rejuvenation of several 80’s cartoon franchises is ...

  • Good camera, tight controls, unique pounce attack, up to five players simultaneously online.
  • Too short, no extra modes, Voltron sequences are underwhelming.
