I've been very happy with the Katana so far, headphone issues notwithstanding. I like my computer audio loud and immersive. No, you don't need to spend what Creative is asking to enjoy quality sound on a Mac, but I doubt many people will be disappointed...

Sound quality, Design of the soundbar, Lighting is subtle and can be turned off, Decent connection options
Subwoofer is big and not built as well as the soundbar, The only Bluetooth codec available is AAC
