Robust signal range and clean, static-free sound; aesthetically pleasing design; can stream DRM-protected tracks; iPod can be controlled using iCast receiver; includes input jack for other audio devices.
Dock works only with dock-connector iPods; expensive; no dock connector pass-through.
The Soundcast iCast has good, clean wireless sound, but its cost definitely outweighs its utility as an iPod transmitter/receiver for the home. Price range: $169.95
Immune to interference. Excellent sound quality. Easy to set up and operate.
No remote control. Doesnt support multiple streams. Supports up to two receivers only.
The Soundcast iCast falls midway between the StarTech AirLink MP3 and the Sonos ZonePlayer system. Its not cheap, but its a wireless iPod dock thats immune to interference....
