  • Portable, lightweight, and easy to use, Connected app provides detailed and potentially valuable information, Users can input drinks consumed and other notes to see how their body processes alcohol
  • Requires an iPhone (or other connected smartphone) to be used at all
  • Security and sharing concerns aside, the BACtrack works as advertised. It's portable and convenient, it works fast, and the data it provides could be valuable to many users. We didn't expect the iPhone integration to be such an integral part of the produ...

  • It's really fun. Every time I've pulled it out in a bar, all of my friends wanted to try it (you might want to get some straws, for sanitation's sake). It also started interesting conversations. People were always really surprised at how long it takes for

  • The BACtrack Mobile Breathalyzer measures your BAC with professional-grade fuel cell technology and estimates how long before you're sober. It's compact and syncs via Bluetooth with iPhones and has a companion app
  • In order to save readings you must store them in the cloud. The BACtrack's social-media features share way too much. It's pricey
  • If you aren't turned off by its questionable social-sharing features, the advanced BACtrack Mobile Breathalyzer is a compelling tool that can help minimize overindulging....

  • Police-grade accuracy. The software has a host of useful (and fun) features
  • The people that need this the most probably aren't going to be the ones responsible enough to buy such a device
  • I tried out the BACtrack on a friend on mine when we went out drinking last night. After a couple hours I had her blow into the BACtrack and on my iPhone it showed she had a BAC of 0.048%, and provided the following update: “Your reasoning and memories a...
