  • Abstract:  Sponsored links, if any, appear in green. The HTC EVO 3D is a 4.3-inch smartphone with glasses-free 3D capture and playback. It is powered by an all new 1.2GHz, dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It has a dual 5 megapixel camera on the back and...

  • Abstract:  Sprint's marketing campaigns over the past few months have focused on the fact that the carrier was the first to launch a 4G network in the U.S. Building on that, the company has focused on the various things you can do with a 4G connection that weren'...

  • Plays 3D content really well and without glasses; fast performance thanks to processor; HTC Sense
  • 3D will give you a headache and limited viewing angles; no HDMI output; capacity too low for such a device
  • The phone may be fat – in comparison to other smartphones in the market – and 3D is a bit of a gimmick (one that can hurt your eyes), the phone still proves to the phone with the required features we want – a camera that works, a phone that does not lag a...

  • Stylish and solid design, 3D camera with dedicated camera button and 2D/3D toggle, Notification LED
  • Big, heavy and bulky, 3D games and effects can cause headaches, 2D camera is 5MP and 720p, average quality photos
  • The ‘3D' aspects of this phone add unnecessary bulk and weight to what could have been a pretty decent good old ‘2D' phone, I find it too thick and too heavy to be a practical everyday phone. Personally I find 3D to be a gimmick and not really necessary o...

  • We're sad to say, but the 3D feature on the HTC Evo 3D is nothing more than a gimmick. Shooting 3D photos and videos is good for a laugh, but it quickly loses its luster once you realise there isn't much you can do with the content once you've created it...

  • 3D experience is impressive, Excellent build quality, Slick UI and performance
  • Chunky and heavy design, Battery life is below average, Limited 3D content available
  • The HTC EVO 3D offers genuinely impressive 3D viewing without the need for special glasses. However, the lack of 3D content available makes it little more than a gimmick that you'll quickly tire of. Further, the EVO 3D is chunky and heavy: we find it diff...

  • Solid smartphone experience, 3D is great when it works, 1730mAh battery is sufficient
  • No HDMI port, Struggles with 1080p videos, Limited multimedia file recognition
  • Whether you like the 3D feature or choose to never use it, the Evo 3D is a powerful, capable Android and our favourite HTC smartphone of the year, so far.

  • Excellent glasses-less high-resolution screen; 3D camera can take shots at night; Latest version of Android;
  • Very little supplied 3D content; No guide mode for first-time 3D users. which will probably be everybody; Regular 2D video capture only available in 720p HD;
  • If you’re in the market for a top phone with decent 3D, the HTC Evo 3D pulls it off very well. Much like other 3D smartphones, more content is needed, but the hardware has been nailed.

  • The HTC Evo 3D improves on its predecessor with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and a larger battery. The Android Gingerbread smartphone also features a glasses-free 3D display and can capture 3D photos and video
  • The smartphone doesn't offer much internal memory, and call quality could be better. The glasses-free 3D display has limited viewing angles and depth of field
  • The 3D features are a fun addition, but it's the HTC Evo 3D's zippy performance and improved battery life that make this Android smartphone one of Sprint's best....
