  • Huge screen; decent processor; Android 2.3,
  • 3D photos only offer 2megapixel resolution; very poor battery life.
  • We remain unconvinced that 3D is really a suitable technology for smartphones. If you want to try it, we’d suggest you opt for LG’s Optimus 3D which offers a fuller set of features and is, at present, less expensive too. ...

  • 3D can be impressive, Large, high resolution screen, Very fast, HTC interface can be superb
  • 3D can be horrible, Large and bulky handset, HTC interface can be frustrating
  • The HTC Evo 3D is clearly a very capable handset, packing-in just about every current key feature, including of course its 3D camera and screen. As such it ranks very highly if you're simply after a top-spec powerhouse. However, we're just not wholly conv...

  • 2megapixel resolution for 3D stills, Few 3D features beyond the dual cameras, Very poor battery life, Bulky and heavy, Expensive

  • Abstract:  A 3D phone with reasonable battery life, but the camera and screen are both poor for this kind of money LG won the race to put out the first 3D smartphone, with its Optimus 3D boasting twin cameras and an auto-stereoscopic screen, but industry giant HT...

  • Overall display quality is very satisfactory with great brightness, Glassesfree 3D display works from several angles, Very good audio, Great at picking up signal, Sense 3.0 and responsive user interface
  • 3D could be taken further: why no 3D Sense?, Not many multimedia options and HTC Watch is expensive, Battery doesn't last long if you use a lot of 3D, Display has poor contrast ratio
  • The HTC Evo 3D lives up to its name by bringing 3D to a smartphone—and doing it well. That shouldn't imply that the rest of the handset hasn't been carefully designed or that the attractive HTC Sense interface didn't impress us either. In some ways, it...

  • The HTC Evo 3D is one of the largest smartphones currently on sale, with a huge 4.3-inch screen. With a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, it's pin sharp and looks glorious. When it comes to watching movies or checking out web pages, few of the Evo 3D's rivals are better. It's not just a great screen when it comes to sharpness, either, with 3D technology that helps it to literally stand out. The hom
  • The HTC Evo 3D's touchscreen display is both a major selling point, and one of its biggest problems. Although it's great for use, and looks fantastic, it also makes the Evo 3D one seriously large smartphone, and it's simply the wrong side of comfortable for most occasions. The 5-megapixel camera, despite offering 3D photograph, is also average at best.
  • Overall, the HTC Evo 3D is a bit of a disappointment. It's a perfectly good smartphone – it's seriously fast, packed with features and have a great screen, but we can't help but feel that the 3D tech is still nothing more than a gimmick. It's well wort...

  • The 3D imaging capabilities of the Evo 3D aren’t integrated as well as they should be for this to be a killer 3D phone. You can’t properly view 3D pictures you’ve taken and there’s no sign of the promised 3D movies to download yet from HTC Watch. If yo...

  • Glasses-free 3D; large, 4.3-inch screen; runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread; 3D photo and video capture
  • Bulky and heavy; poor battery life; 3D effect can't be switched off
  • The HTC Evo 3D offers a fast processor and powerful Android software, but this smart phone is heavy and its battery life is terrible. If you're mad for glasses-free 3D, it's worth a look, but this feature feels rather like a gimmick....

  • Powerful, Sense skills
  • 3D has some serious flaws, chunky monkey
  • There’s certainly something to be said for picking up a HTC Evo 3D as a slightly more rugged Sensation. But as a 3D phone? It’s not as compelling a proposition as the LG Optimus 3D, and even then that’s relative: the Optimus isn’t compelling either.Ele...
