  • There's nothing inherently wrong with the Samsung DoubleTime. It's a fine phone in most respects. It's also completely boring. For a device that is obviously aimed at helping bridge the gap between quick messaging devices and mid-range smartphones, th...

  • Terrific physical keyboard; good 3G speeds while testing in the Dallas area; good camera quality
  • Outdated version of Android; small display is uncomfortable at times; sluggish performance especially when using multiple apps and when web browsing; terrible battery life with the unit I was testing (could be a defective battery)
  • I've been pleasantly surprised by a number of low-end and mid-range smartphones that offered performance that far exceeded my expectations for such a device. The DoubleTime is not one of those phones. Outside of its stellar QWERTY keyboard, there's nothin...

  • Abstract:  The Samsung DoubleTime is one of AT&T 's new low-end Android smartphones and it features a form factor we haven't seen in smartphones before. With an external display and an internal touchscreen display (both measure 3.2-inches), the design is reminiscent...

  • Abstract:  Sponsored links, if any, appear in green. The Samsung DoubleTime is a budget-level Android smartphone with a unique form-factor that is headed to AT&T. Featuring a flip design, the DoubleTime has two touchscreens and a four-row QWERTY keyboard. The two...

  • One of the few dualscreen clamshells
  • Sluggish overall performance, Washed out displays, Outdated Froyo build, Weak battery life
  • Seriously, for $49.99 on-contract, you’re better off investing the money on something considerably better – especially when there are a variety of other smartphones that tastefully show off the beauty of Android. To tell you the truth, the Samsung Dou...

  • Sturdily built and appealing to the eyes, AT&T's Samsung DoubleTime has a refreshing design with two screens, a comfortable QWERTY keyboard, and a flip-open design. Call quality was good
  • The DoubleTime's biggest problem is that it runs Android 2.2 Froyo instead of the more current Gingerbread. Its more petite touch screen and pink accent colors won't appeal to everyone, and the camera quality is middling. You can only access the microSD b
  • Those of you looking for a more unique, eye-catching design will appreciate the Samsung DoubleTime's petite hinging face with two screens and comfortable keyboard. However, the lower-end specs and outdated Android OS do the phone no favors.
