  • The very thin design and good low light settings make it stand out,
  • A 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio and only 120Hz refresh rate are hard to overlook.
  • If you want a very thin TV and are willing to settle for mid range display settings this TV may be for you....

  • Only 1.2" thick!!!, Integrates very well with the Samsung, Incredible Black levels, Rich, accurate colors, Yahoo! Widgets, Cool builtin applications,
  • Pricey, Poor offaxis viewing, Still waiting on Netflix Widget, Agonizingly slow response to remote commands
  • There is not a lot to not like about the Samsung. Provided you don't mind waiting for the lagging menu system controls, it's an excellent display with a great black level and absolutely stunning look. Color is excellent, though off-angle viewing i...

  • Only 1.2 inches thick. Good color and contrast ratio performance. Strong feature set. Energy efficient. HDMI-CEC support. Internet@TV support with Web widgets and access to services like Amazon Video On Demand.
  • Expensive. Auto-dimming cannot be disabled. Integrated speakers are weak.
  • While Samsung had to make some compromises to get the 40-inch UN40B7000 LED-based LCD HDTV to measure a mere 1.2 inches thick, the result is just as sexy and powerful as it is expensive....

  • At 1.2 inches thick and with all its input/output jacks on the side rather than the back, this set can be hung like a framed picture. Deep color and 120Hzmode refresh adjustments let you dial in picture and processing to suit your taste. Surprisingly dark...
  • Glossy screen picks up quite a bit of glare. Internet widgets load slower than a Uwe Boll torrent. Dynamiccontrast control produces visible pulsing when maxed out.

  • Ultrathin frame, deep blacks, rich colors, energy-efficient lighting technology
  • Uneven color, noticeable picture "judder"
  • Internet-connected LED TV offers a pleasing viewing experience

  • Abstract:  The tests We use a new testing method very similar to the one we use for video projectors. The same video analysis software produces the HCFR colormeter. This gives us a good evaluation of brightness, depth of blacks, the color space, RGB levels, colo...

  • Okay, so this review has been pretty much equal parts praise and equal parts criticism that you're probably asking yourself, "should I buy the UN55B7000 or not?" Getting past all its gimmicks and features, the UN55B7000, on its picture quality and cont...
